Although we ARE NOT contracted with insurance companies, we will provide you with an insurance coded, itemized receipt, which you may send directly to your insurance company for reimbursement. All patients may pay by either cash, check, Visa, American Express, MasterCard or Discover.
Our fees for Medicare patients are set by the government. We require payment at the time of service unless previous arrangements have been made. We will file your Medicare and secondary claim promptly so that you can be directly reimbursed by Medicare.
We provide dermatologic service that is a qualified medical expense for HSA accounts. We provide a receipt that you can keep for your records.
Our fees are comparable to those charged by other dermatologists in the area and are based on the time and expertise required to evaluate and treat your problem. A new patient office visit is $125.00 and covers the evaluation and management or diagnosis of your medical condition. Fees for follow-up visits are usually less than the initial visit; fees for surgical procedures or special tests are added to the cost of the visit. Patients may pay by check, cash, Visa, American Express, MasterCard or Discover.
Please note, all prescriptions are covered by your insurance plan exactly the same as if written by a doctor who is contracted with your plan. If you require a prescription refill please call your pharmacy and have them fax a request to 713-467-6980.
